NAVORA SOS — Emergency Protocol & Offline Response System

Overview: NAVORA SOS is a resilient, decentralized emergency system capable of operating entirely offline through local mesh networking. It allows users to trigger silent or explicit distress signals using biometrics, motion, or audio cues. The system autonomously escalates based on severity, context, and failure to respond. It coordinates real-time group restructuring, responder routing, and fallback logic using NAVORA CONNECT and NAVORA SWARM.

NAVORA SOS is designed for environments where traditional emergency services may be unavailable, unreachable, or delayed — including offshore waters, backcountry trails, urban blackout zones, or conflict areas.

Offline SOS Beacon with Auto-Escalation

SOS beacons are:

  • Transmitted via NAVORA SWARM using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, or mesh radio modules

  • Encoded with:

    • NAVORA ID fingerprint

    • Location pulse + motion status

    • Heart rate or biometric anomaly if available

    • Timestamp + trigger reason

Auto-escalation tiers:

  • Tier 1: Self-check / timeout fail

  • Tier 2: Request aid from nearby NAVORA users (SWARM range)

  • Tier 3: Emergency broadcast to all CONNECT group members + Trusted Zone contacts

  • Tier 4: External API dispatch to security or rescue network (if online)

Beacon pings at decreasing intervals as severity increases, ensuring power efficiency.

Crowd-Sourced Emergency Alert Distribution

When a NAVORA user triggers an SOS:

  • Nearby NAVORA devices receive the alert anonymously

  • Users with relevant credentials (e.g., off-duty medic, guide, ski patrol) can acknowledge and respond

  • Non-participant devices relay the signal as part of mesh

Alerts include:

  • Estimated condition (movement halted, heart rate drop, verbal panic)

  • Trail or route deviation history

  • Group composition and last known interaction

This enables ad hoc, decentralized response coordination in absence of formal infrastructure.

Audio, Biometric, or Motion-Triggered Activation

Users can trigger SOS via:

  • Voice command (customized phrases — “NAVORA help me”)

  • Biometric trigger (sustained panic heart rate, rapid drop, abnormal pacing)

  • Motion triggers:

    • Fall detection

    • Device dropped without recovery

    • Repetitive circular movement pattern (disorientation)

These triggers are prioritized based on confidence, recent behavior, and location context.

Fallback methods:

  • Screen tap + hold (invisible UI layer for covert activation)

  • Scheduled pulse check-ins (fail to respond = auto-trigger)

Proximity-Based Responder Routing

When responders are detected:

  • NAVORA calculates optimal approach based on terrain, proximity, and mode (boat, hike, ski)

  • Syncs nearest route with hazard avoidance via CORE OS

  • Transmits live location pulses for both SOS sender and responder

Responders receive:

  • Trail overlays, hazard map, ETA guidance

  • Option to broadcast back reassurance or ask for remote status check

  • Priority path overlays if multiple responders join

Emergency Group Reshuffling & Survivor Routing

NAVORA CONNECT engages emergency logic when a group member goes into distress:

  • Freezes group route for assessment

  • Suggests subgroup reconfiguration to maintain safety (e.g., split team, turn-back escort, continue with relay)

  • Assigns provisional group leads if original leader is incapacitated

System can:

  • Auto-designate waypoints and safe zones for regrouping

  • Share fallback or rally points

  • Annotate SOS trail for post-event review or aid arrival

Patent Advantage: NAVORA SOS introduces:

  • Decentralized, offline-capable beacon + relay architecture

  • Auto-escalation tiers with motion/biometric failover

  • Dynamic group restructuring logic for peer-based response

  • Proximity responder routing using mesh + behavioral context

NAVORA SOS redefines personal and group safety — making emergency response intelligent, adaptive, and resilient to signal loss or infrastructure failure.
